We provide tailored services to meet your dog's needs. We provide a safe environment for your nervous dog, aging dog, blind or deaf dog, etc. We provide a pampered environment for dogs who simply prefer a sofa and a bed to a kennel. Our goal is to provide a calm place for your pet so you and your dog can rest easy while you are away.
We make every effort to limit our boarding family to no more than four boarded dogs nightly. This allows us to provide the peaceful environment we promise and to allow the specialized care your dogs needs.
We encourage you to do the following when bringing your dog to stay with us:
Bring their bed, blanket or crate with you. Their familiar scented items help relieve their stress.
We don't encourage bringing their favorite toy because we cannot assure that another pup will not get it and chew it up.
Bring their food and make sure you bring enough. Keeping them on their regular diet can help prevent digestive issues. Bring toppings and/or treats that you typically use.
Bring their medications and instructions. (You can provide verbal instructions during intake).
Bring their weather gear if they will need it (rain coat, cold weather coat, etc.)
Make sure they have a collar/harness that fits well.
Bring printed (or emailed from vet) proof of vaccination status and flea control.
We provide tailored services to meet your dog's needs, ensuring their comfort and safety during stay.
^We do not charge fees for administering medications, special diets, outside time, etc.
Services at no extra charge:
We send several texts a day with photo updates featuring your fur kid.
We will administer medication as needed.
All dogs go outside several times a day for play time and bathroom time.
Dogs have access to a dog door to the back yard to use as they please.
Many dog toys are available at all times.
We feed special diets that you provide. We will warm the meal, mix or top treats with the meal, etc. If your dog has a special feeding need or routine we will meet their requirements.
We verify that each dog demonstrates normal food and water intake, urination, and defecation while in our care.
If you dog is a senior dog and may be blind, deaf or both, we will feed them and take them outside according to your special instructions.
We have a crate for dogs that prefer sleeping or resting in a crate. Generally, your dog will sleep in the bedroom. There are several dog bed options in the bedroom. Some dogs may be allowed to sleep on the human bed.
We have a separate den with sofa, recliner, TV and other comforts. We can put dogs that can't get along in the other den, with the TV on and a baby gate separating the den from the living room.
You must provide proof of vaccination status and flea control for your dog. We require dogs to have the bordetella (kennel cough) and DHPP vaccines to board in our home.
Note: Your dog is expected to arrive without fleas and to have been treated with a flea control product. If your dog has fleas upon arrival we will bathe your dog with Vet's Best all natural flea shampoo and charge you for a bath on pickup. Vet's Best is a gentle shampoo but ANY flea control product has risks. All boarding facilities must have strict flea regulations for obvious reasons. Thank you for understanding.
We charge $40 per night per dog.
There is an additional $3 daily charge if we provide food. We feed Purina One True Instinct High Protein dry food.
We offer Doggy Day Care on a limited basis. Our Day Care fee is $25 per day, per dog, with the same requirements as boarding.
Dogs in Day Care and/or Boarding must generally have a good temperament, get along with other dogs and not be destructive.
Payment is required in advance. We accept cash and credit/debit cards ONLY. We do not accept checks.
Bath Fee: $20 per dog.*
Nail Trim Fee: $11 per dog.*
*Bath and Nail services are offered as a convenient service to our boarded dogs. We do not offer these services to dogs not boarding with us. We are not a grooming facility.
