Dog Boarding Services
We specialize in caring for small and medium dogs with personalized attention and comfort in our home environment.
Boarding in Our Home, Tailored Services and a Peaceful Environment
We provide tailored services to meet your dogs needs. We provide a safe environment for your nervous dog, aging dog, blind or deaf dog, etc. Our goal is to provide a calm, safe place for your pet so you and your dog can rest easy while you are away.
We make every effort to limit our boarding family to no more than four boarded dogs nightly. This allows us to provide the peaceful environment we promise and to allow the specialized care your dogs needs.

Your Owner Responsibilities When Boarding With Us:
We encourage you to do the following when bringing your dog to stay with us:
Bring their bed, blanket or crate with you. Their familiar scented items help relieve their stress.
We don't encourage bringing their favorite toy because we cannot assure that another pup will not get it and chew it up.
Bring their food and make sure you bring enough. Keeping them on their regular diet can help prevent digestive issues. Bring extra toppings and/or treats that you typically use.
Bring their medications and instructions. (You can provide verbal instructions during intake).
Bring their weather gear if they will need it (rain coat, cold weather coat, etc.)
Make sure they have a collar or harness that fits well.
Bring printed (or emailed from vet) proof of vaccination status and flea control.

Personalized Care
We provide tailored services to meet your dog's needs, ensuring their comfort and safety during stay.
Special Services:
*We will administer medication as needed.
*We feed special diets that you provide. We will warm the meal, mix or top treats with the meal, etc. If your dog has a special feeding need or routine we will meet their requirements.
*We verify that each dog demonstrates normal water intake, urination, and defecation while in our care.
*If you dog is a senior dog and may be blind, deaf or both, we will feed them and take them outside according to your special instructions.
*We have a crate for dogs that prefer sleeping or resting in a crate. Generally, your dog will sleep in the bedroom. There are several dog bed options in the bedroom. Some dogs may be allowed to sleep on the human bed.
*We have a separate den with sofa, recliner, TV and other comforts. We can put dogs that can't get along in the other den, with the TV on and a baby gate separating the den from the living room.
We screen all dogs for vaccinations and flea control to ensure a safe boarding experience.
You must provide proof of vaccination status and flea control for your dog. We require dogs to have the bordetella (kennel cough) and DHLPP vaccines to board in our home.
Note: If your dog has fleas upon arrival we will bathe your dog with Vet's Best all natural flea shampoo. This is a very gentle shampoo but ANY flea control product can cause reactions. It is best (and required) that your dog arrives without fleas. If we are forced to give your dog a flea bath you will be charged the full price of a bath and there is a slight risk to your dog. Please follow the rules. ALL boarding facilities require proof of vaccines and flea control. We are no different. We do not want to create stress or conflict because it is against our mission of calm and peace for your dog.

Boarding Fees
We charge $45 per night per dog. $48 per night if we provide the food. We feed Purina One True Instinct High Protein dry food.
Payment is required in advance. We accept cash and credit/debit cards ONLY. We do not accept checks.
Our target customers are those that absolutely will not put their dog in a cage, or an indoor/outdoor run. We also serve senior dogs and care for them gently, as if they were our own. Our clients do not want their dog to be in a noisy environment with barking dogs and the smell of dog waste. There is no fear and no worry in our home. You are paying to have your dog be a member of our family during their boarding experience. You dog will be in our actual home, not a "home-like experience" with employees and many dogs.
We strive to create an environment where you dog looks forward to coming to visit Miss Maggie.

Bath and Nail Trimming Services
Bath Fee: $20 per dog.*
Nail Trim Fee: $11 per dog.*
*Bath and Nail services are offered as a convenient service to our boarded dogs. We do not offer these services to dogs not boarding with us. We are not a grooming facility.
We use Wahl USA Oatmeal and Coconut shampoo, scissor style nail trimmers, and a battery powered nail grinder to smooth out the nails after trimming. We towel dry dogs and then let them air dry. We do not groom and generally do not comb/brush your dog's fur as we are not a grooming service.
*Note: We will not complete nail trims on dogs that show nail trim stress. Stressing your dog and causing fear is against our mission. If your dog fights with nail trimming, we stop trimming and do not charge you. This also applies to dogs that will not let us bathe them. This is more rare, but if your dog has a fit in the bath tub, attempts to escape, climbs the human and/or the walls, cannot be contained, and generally does not tolerate a bath, we will immediately rinse the dog and stop the bath. You will still be charged a bath fee, even if your dog will not let us complete the bath. This is because dogs that have a fit in the tub create a wet mess in the bathroom, soak, scratch, and potentially bite the human, and still require rinsing and drying and towel laundry.
