My parent was a lifelong veterinarian. I grew up working in veterinary hospitals and have worked with, rescued and kept dogs all of my life. I have the experience to meet the needs of your dog.

Your dog stays in our home and lives as part of the family while they are here. You dog gets to stay on the furniture, sleep in the bedroom, and enjoy the comforts of home while you are away.

As a temporary member of our family, your dog will enjoy a peaceful, low-stress environment hanging out with Miss Maggie and enjoying the back yard.

About Miss Maggie's Place

We offer loving, in-home, cage-free dog boarding for small and medium breeds (25ish pounds and under). Your pet receives tailored comfort and individualized care inside our quiet home. We also charge no extra fees for administering medications, outside play, or special food needs.

Your Dog's Home Away From Home

Lots of Places to Rest and a Large Yard

We offer many soft chairs, dog beds, and blankets for comfort. Our large backyard is secured by a six-foot wooden fence, with a dog door for independent access. All guests are also taken outside several times daily for potty breaks and fresh air.

Your Dog Stays in Our Home

At Miss Maggie's Place your dog literally stays in my home that I have owned for 20 years. Your dog is part of the family during their stay.

We provide your dog a caring, stress-free stay in our clean, peaceful home. Miss Maggie's is a quiet sanctuary for timid, special needs, or pampered guests. We accept a maximum of four dogs to ensure personalized care.

Meet Miss Maggie

Miss Maggie is the fourth Rat Terrier I have rescued. She came to me from a dog hoarding situation where she was low in the pecking order and timid. She has grown into a confident companion who joins me on most things I do. Miss Maggie is usually the first one to welcome new guests,
