We provide loving, in-home dog boarding for small and medium dogs (25 pounds and under), ensuring comfort and care tailored to each pet's needs, including special requirements and individualized care when needed.

Your Dog's Home Away From Home

Lots of Places to Rest and a Large Yard

There are multiple soft chairs, dog beds and blankets for your dog's rest and comfort. We have a dog door to the back yard for any guests that know how to use one. Dogs are taken outside several times a day to ensure everyone gets a chance to go potty and get some fresh air. Dogs that use the doggy door can come and go as they please. The large back yard is secure with a six foot wooden fence.

Your Dog Stays in Our Home

I have owned my home for 20 years. Your dog literally stays in MY HOME, not a "home-like environment" that keeps many dogs per night and pays someone to stay in the "home." At Miss Maggie's Place your dog literally stays in our home, with us, with no paid employees. Your dog is part of our family during their stay.

Safe and Comfortable Stay

I am a retired teacher and grew up in a veterinary environment. I maintain a clean, peaceful home where your dog can relax, stress-free, when they need to be kept away from home. I have a large, secure back yard with a tall wooden fence. There is a dog door to the back yard for dogs that know how to use one.

Specialized in caring for small and medium dogs (25 pounds and under) with personalized attention and comfort in our home.

Personalized Care

We provide tailored services for each dog and do our best to meet the requirements of those with special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety during their stay.

Peaceful Environment

We make every effort to limit our boarding family to no more than four boarded dogs nightly. This allows us to provide the peaceful environment we promise and to provide individualized care for each dog entrusted to us.

You must provide proof of vaccination status and flea control for your dog prior to and/or during intake. We require dogs to have the bordetella (kennel cough) and DHLPP vaccines to board in our home. Dogs without proof of vaccinations and flea control will not be accepted as boarders.

We screen all dogs for vaccinations and flea control to ensure a safe boarding experience.

During snow events, we clear areas so dogs have a place to go potty without having to be in the snow.
